What can be done to make the NGOs' stay as easy and affordable as possible?

Giving volunteers access to crew catering is a great way of honoring their unpaid work. Photo by Matthias Grandjean
For festivals: NGOs bring a lot of value to your festival if the cooperation is done right – so why don't you show some appreciation for their hard, unpaid work for a greater cause by meeting them halfway regarding their needs? You don't need to book individual hotel rooms or give them access to the artist catering. But maybe you can figure out some creative solutions about accommodation, or let them eat at the crew catering?

For NGOs: There is no obligation for the festival to do this, so please don't expect too much. Smaller festivals might not be able to finance things like this.
