Festivaldagene er ikke det eneste tidspunkt, hvor et samarbejde mellem en NGO og en festival kan give mening. NGO'er kan også blive en del af en festivals kampagner på sociale medier. Nogle gange arrangerer festivaler andre begivenheder ud over deres hovedbegivenhed. Og nogle gange kan det være så simpelt som at linke til hinanden på den respektive partners hjemmeside.
